In April I received a Gluten-Free Vanilla cake mix and a recipe card for a London Fog Gluten Free Blueberry Cake in my April White Willow Subscription Box. This was perfect for baking something Gluten Free. It was easy to follow and the cake turned out beautifully.
It was in the earlier years when we decided to go on a day trip to Chilliwack to explore the self guided Chilliwack Circle Farm Tour. I remember that it was a cloudy day and we stopped at around five different places on the Chilliwack Circle Farm tour which included Anita’s Certified Grain and Flour Mill, Rustic Soap, Happy Days Dairy, Chilliwack River Natural Honey, and we ended with lunch at Hofstede’s Country Barn. This is a great way to explore the Fraser Valley with Circle Farm Tours.
One year we took a Beginner/Intermediate Crochet Class at Baad Anna’s . It was once a week and students could bring their own crochet projects to work on or else follow the instructor’s beginner project. I followed the beginner project which was to crochet an infinity scarf by the end of the class series. I loved the wool at Baad Anna’s and even writing this post is making me want to return to make a few more infinity scarves as gifts for family and friends.
It all started with buying a new Janome Sewing Machine and signing up for classes at Spool of Thread. Once I started, I was on a roll. In August 2014 I started with the Tote Bag class. I practiced by making all of my girlfriends reversible tote bags for their birthday gifts.
Then I took the Zippered Pouch class and in August 2015 it was the first piece of clothing with the Miette Wrap Skirt. I have successfully learned to sew and can’t wait to continue with new sewing projects in the future.

With six reviews and ten photos, I have become a Level 2 Contributor achieving 14 badges. Wow! I’m sure I can do even more this year writing up to 10 reviews and leveling up. This has been a great way to share my travel adventures, experiences and memories.
In July 2014 my “sister” got married outside of London, England which was the perfect reason to travel to one of the places on my bucket list – London, England. It was a great time to be with family and friends and have a memorable adventure. I loved London and cherished every minute exploring the city, enjoying the shows, and spending time with my “adopted” family. London is an expensive city so this was a special trip – one in a lifetime.
It’s time to catch up with the bucket list! I decided to try to sell things that I would normally donate. I was going through a downsizing phase so I took pictures of things I didn’t want anymore but were in excellent shape and posted them online with Craigslist.
With Craigslist it was pretty quiet on this sale for a few months but I persisted and re-listed and out of the blue one day, a lady called me about the pottery teapot set and made arrangements to pick it up. She came and paid me $10. I sold something online.
